Yes indeedy, I’m soooooo excited about certain events in DC this week that I decided to make my dystopian novelette “Unplanned Parenthood” free in their honor!

I originally wrote the story back in 2011, when there was a big kerfluffle about shutting down the government in order to defund Planned Parenthood.  I soon had a little story-ette about a government operative (read: assassin) of ambiguous sexual orientation, race (I tried to describe the characters so that you could fill in the race as you wished), and possibly species (is Jordan a vampire??!??  Who knows!) caught up in a dystopian future where her genes were being used to create a race of killer clones who would replace her.  It’s kind of a harsh story (Jordan isn’t actually a very nice person), but I think it’s beautiful and hopeful at the end.  And you can get it FREE here.  I hope you enjoy it, and here’s the lovely cover provided by Alan M.
