Well, almost July. If you are in the grip of the heatwaves that are currently attacking the northern hemisphere, I hope you are staying safe and cool.

I wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that my near-scifi story “Spring Hope” by my other pen name is now out and is currently free on Kindle! You can get it here.

It’s set about 20 years from now and deals with a variety of hot topics, such as Long Covid, climate change, and (the end of) animal experimentation. I believe I mentioned in an earlier email that I’ve been watching the efforts to free the Ridglan Farm beagles for the past year+. Animal experimentation has thus been much on my mind, and this story imagines a future where it has been almost completely phased out.
